As a queer parent to a 3 yr old foster son (who we hope to one day stop calling &#8220;foster&#8221; and just let him be &#8220;son&#8221;), I enjoy the shared experiences- both as a double-&#8220;mom&#8221; house and as a non-birth parent. Chin up, duckling. &#x1f60a;</p>
